Kiln Art In The News!

Kiln Art has been featured in several regional and national publications over the last number of years. The company has also issued occasional press releases introducing new products, changes at the retail level and other developments within the company.

Sharon McNamara et al

It's done. We closed our Ottawa operations and completed our expansion in Nova Scotia with the opening of Sharon McNamara et al, in our old space at 65 Duke Street, Chester.

Now, we have two stores -- side by side -- one featuring our glass dinnerware and gifts, while the other displays our bigger pieces -- glass basins, mirrors and stained glass windows.

At Sharon McNamara et al, you will also find the work of a select group of other artists -- usually young up and comers we believe in.

More on that later....

Kiln Art reorganizes retail operations

April 15, 2007

There has been a flurry of activity these past few months as we have made a number of moves that will help us better serve our customers.

First we closed our Ottawa store at 218 Bank Street after three years of operation. It was a poor location and an opportunity came up to sublet the property, so we did.

In Chester, Nova Scotia we have moved Chez Glass Lass next door to 63 Duke Street, a much larger, airier building.

We opened a second floor at 63 Duke Street in which features our larger architectural and decor pieces.
